Xbox One players around the world ran to their console when Red Dead Redemption turned up as a backwards compatible title on the Xbox Store back in February. Unfortunately it turned out to be a mistake, and the game was removed. Well, today we have some good news.
Rockstar has just announced that Red Dead Redemption will launch on the Xbox One as part of Microsoft's Backward Compatibility program this Friday, July 8. You'll then be able to play the game directly on your Xbox One, regardless of which version of the game you own. It'll also be available to purchase from the Games Store on Xbox One the same day.
