After a grand final between Evil Geniuses and Rise Nation, the latter claimed victory in the Call of Duty World League tournament in Seattle this past weekend, having emerged from the losers bracket to take the crown.

Rise Nation actually started off a little rocky, registering three losses and just one win in group stages, but then they rallied in the losers bracket to beat the likes of Ghost Gaming and Luminosity (both teams with success already this year) and set up a grand final clash with Evil Geniuses, who up until then had dominated EnVy, Echo Fox, and eUnited in the winners bracket.

Rise were the dominant force in the grand finals, however, and their first place finish came with $80,000 USD in prize money. Did you expect them to beat EG though?

REVIEW. Written by Ford James

"The campaign is phenomenal, and the Zombies mode is probably the best it's ever been."
