Shin Megami Tensei HD, the game in the popular RPG series announced a long time ago for the Nintendo Switch, has been renamed as Shin Megami Tensei V, which means that this will be the next main entry in the series following SMT IV for Nintendo 3DS, released in 2013.

This news came from a brief livestream that also gave us a new teaser trailer. This video shows that the game is set modern Tokyo and is divided into three scenes. First, we see some students walking into the metro station, then some dead bodies are seen in a tunnel, and finally two of those students are surrounded by demons.

SMT V is a Nintendo Switch exclusive. Are you hyped after seeing this trailer?
