Ninjas in Pyjamas won their first game at DreamHack Summer with a strong and consistent effort.

Epsilon came out the gates the strongest, though. They won the pistol round and snatched the following two rounds, but with a full loss bonus the Ninjas took over the game. They put eight rounds on the board in a row, and though Epsilon managed to plant in almost every one of those rounds, NiP always secured the retake. Epsilon did manage to win a fourth round, but the Ninjas immediately squashed any hopes of a comeback .

Second half opened much like the first. Epsilon defused their way to a pistol round win and took the following two. Then Disco found himself in a clutch 1v3 situation with the bomb planted, but despite taking out all three remaining NiP players, the Ninjas had managed to stall long enough that he didn't have time for a defuse.

Though Epsilon kept up the pressure and took rounds off the Ninjas, they couldn't close the gap. NiP steadily inched closer to match point as Epsilon took bites out of their lead. With Epsilon unable to stop their opponents, Ninjas in Pyjamas won the game 16-9 with a convincing performance.
