Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two will, unlike its predecessor, appear on the Wii and on other platforms, such as the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Could there have been a way to utilise the controls of both the Move and Kinect? Perhaps, if the developers had found a way to do this, says Junction Point founder Warren Spector.

In an interview with us at Gamescom, Spector revealed how that the lack of support for the Kinect didn't happen because of the nature of the periphery, but more because of his own abilities.

"Kinect Is Good for rail Shooters and Performances. Gestures are great for some Games. I am not smart enough to make it work for this game," said the developer in a self-depreciating tone.

In fact, he reviewed all his games and was very critical of them when necessary. "My games are never perfect. I would stop developing games if it's like that. Actually i hate my own games. I see all the mistakes."

But what we are interested in, in addition to the versions for the current console generation, was whether Disney Epic Mickey: The Power of Two will also be available for the next console generation, in particular for the Wii U? "No comment," says Warren Spector, with a denial that sounds somewhat different. It would be nice it, in any case.
