Starlink: Battle for Atlas might not be getting any more toys in the future, but that doesn't mean fans have nothing more to look forward too, as Ubisoft has revealed that a content update called Crimson Moon will bolster the game's offering on April 30, releasing on the new Windows PC version of the game at the same time as the other platforms.

This update - which focuses on the mysterious sighting of the titular moon in the Atlas system - lets you explore the Crimson Moon and the Outlaw Games. There are new single-player and multiplayer racing tracks, the Crimson Coliseum to fight waves of enemies, and new faction story missions and weekly challenges. There are even five new pilots, three new starships, and 11 new weapons available separately for digital purchase.

Those playing on the new PC version can expect the same content as the others, and you can use a DualShock or Xbox One controller to play. As for Switch users though, they can expect exclusive new content, which sees you hunt the Star Wolf team with three new Star Fox pilots, each having their own special ability and skill tree. This will also be available as a digital purchase on April 30.

      REVIEW. Written by Graham Bellars

"It's an ambitious game - part shoot 'em up space battler, part RPG-based planet explorer - and it's all wrapped up with a great story."
