Super Mario Odyssey expansion launches

It's been five weeks since Nintendo announced that Super Mario Odyssey would get a new multiplayer mode called Balloon World, three new costumes, and two new filters for the Snapshot Mode. They said that this would arrive sometime in February, but we haven't heard from them since, but fortunately our Australian allies have revealed that we can hide and find balloons this weekend.

Nintendo's Australian website states that the update will be available on Friday, while also showing one of the new filters; Neon. The statement also reveals that we must have finished the story to get the new mode and costumes, so we hope you haven't been too busy looking for moons to see the credits.

It's worth mentioning that Australia is in a different time zone than us, so it turns out the update is out now. Is this a new mode you've been itching to try?
