Tales of Arise's Fateful Encounter video hints at new character

"A man numb to pain, and woman whose very touch deals nothing but...pain. How will the story unfold between Alphen and Shionne?"

That's the question we're posed with the new trailer for Tales of Arise, the latest in the Tales Of series, and this trailer is called A Fateful Encounter, released during the Tokyo Game Show to give us more of an insight into the RPG.

This encounter might not be talking about Alphen and Shionne though, who were first introduced to us when the game was revealed back at E3. That's because a mysterious first-person perspective is featured at the end of the trailer, hinting at a new character coming our way.

With the game releasing next year, we'll just have to sit patiently and wait for more on Tales of Arise. For now though, you can read up about the two protagonists here.
