Esports organisation Team EnVy has announced that they have entered the competitive Fortnite scene for the first time, and what's more is that streamer KingRichard has been signed as the team captain, also streaming under the EnVy banner as well.

KingRichard already has half a million followers on Twitch and holds the world record for most number of kills taken with zero damage in a complete game of Fortnite, this figure standing at 19. He also plans to keep a consistent stream schedule despite the EnVy signing, also appearing at fan events and competitions as well as creating social content with the organisation.

"Richard's personality and top-level gameplay make for a great match. We are thrilled to support him in expanding his brand and the authentic connections he makes with fans. We know the future of the EnVy name in Fortnite is in good hands," said Mike Rufail, owner and CEO at Envy Gaming.

Will we see more streamers sign with esports organisations?
