Team Liquid has announced that it has signed a partnership deal with the automobile manufacturer Honda, a deal that revolves around the esports organisation's League of Legends team and will see that very team renamed Team Liquid Honda.

As the press release states, this deal is also the expansion of an original deal between Team Liquid and Honda, and came into effect recently, when the team started its Summer Season campaign in the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS).

"Aligning our organization with a legacy company like Honda helps to fuel our ever-evolving fan experiences and competitive advantage in LCS and beyond," says Steve Arhancet, co-CEO and co-owner of Team Liquid. "Their passion for the esports ecosystem and shared values around inclusivity and innovation, make them a valued partner and we look forward to the expanded relationship."

As part of the deal, we're told that there will be all-new jerseys, as well as Team Liquid Honda-branded vehicles provided for players and coaches over the 2022-23 season.
