The Rainbow Six Pro League Season 7 finals just came to a close in Atlantic City, US, this past weekend, and it was actually Team Liquid who took home the trophy after a somewhat surprising win in the grand final against favourites Penta Sports, who were winners at the Six Invitational back in February.

Team Liquid had to defeat not only Fnatic - which they did 2-0 - to get to the final, but also Millenium, and despite Penta being favourites going into the competition, there were shaky moments against both their Six Invitational finalist opponents Evil Geniuses and Rogue, who both got map points against them.

Liquid only entered Rainbow Six esports this year, but they've got off to a very good start, and will be a team to look out for in the coming months, especially if they can take down the likes of Penta. Did you manage to watch the event?
