After a week of action-packed Rainbow Six: Siege esports, the Mexico Major has now come to a close, with a victor being named. That very organisation is Team oNe Esports, who beat out teams from Europe, South America, and North America to take the tournament.

After making it to the Playoff bracket, Team oNe first defeated NA's DarkZero in the quarterfinals, before moving to the semi-finals to take Brazil's Team Liquid out of the running. In the finals, the team had to face Europe's Team Empire, and after a close and hard fought set that went to all the way to the last match of the set, Team oNe clinched the victory and claimed the $200,000 prize pool for themselves.

The next Major in the Rainbow Six Siege calendar is slated for November, although Ubisoft is currently yet to name a specific country where it will be played.
