Last week we reported on the 2020 Rainbow Six: Siege European League winners, and now after a weekend of competition, we can also report that Team SoloMid are the 2020 North American League winners.

The event that started on Friday, January 22 gave four teams a shot at glory, pitting TSM, Spacestation Gaming, DarkZero Esports, and Oxygen Esports against one another. Following two semi-finals, Saturday brought the main event, a finals seeing TSM and DarkZero face-off where the winner will go home with $75,000.

The series was fairly close, seeing a couple of the matches go to the later rounds, but in the grand scheme of things TSM looked pretty dominant with a 3-1 overall win. This meant that TSM walked away with the majority of the prize pool, but DarkZero did go home with a respectable $45,000.

The next major event on the Rainbow Six Siege event calendar will be the 2021 Six Invitational that is set to start in February.

"It's in competitive multiplayer where the game shines. The matches are short, intense and always surprising."
