Darkest Dungeon has already received one official expansion called Crimson Court, not to mention a bunch of user-made mods following its release in 2016, and now developer Red Hook Studios has revealed The Color of Madness, a new official DLC which features aliens and will arrive in spring 2018.

In the DLC extraterrestrial beings have crashed on the Miller's farm at the outskirts of the Hamlet and a new Quest Type is introduced, elaborated on in the official press release as so:

"Get lost in time and space as you confront unending waves of enemies, new and old, pushing ever closer to the crash site of the Comet. Survive as long as you can stomach, and compare your highest kill count with friends and rivals alike!"

The Color of Madness also adds Comet Shards which can be used to purchase new trinkets "with new and powerful functionality" from the Nomad Wagon.

More details about the DLC will be announced in 2018, but for now does it sound interesting?
