The first round of Ultimate Quaran-Team kicked off this weekend

Last week we reported on Ultimate Quaran-Team, the online FIFA tournament coordinated by Leyton Orient FC that saw well over 100 clubs sign up players to compete. This weekend the first matches took place, and you can see the (majority of the) results below, with the updates coming via Twitter.

The whole event has been organised with the best of intentions and in good humour, and it's certainly a nice distraction from the fact that professional sporting competitions remain on ice during the ongoing pandemic.
