The Good Life seems to be an interesting project, with innovative and original mechanics as well as an intriguing story, however, the title seemed to have difficulty convincing would-be backers, so much so that a previous crowdfunding campaign failed to achieve its goal; a failure that motivated the developers to change things up moving forward.
Nine days before the deadline of its Kickstarter campaign, the studio went all in by offering a prototype of its creation - a smart move that attracted new investors and thus saved the project, which is why Swery65 shared his happiness over on Twitter:
"Hey, Finally I am #DrinKING now. Finished one bottle of GLENLIVET 12 years. Ahhh I'm so happy."
The next step for the campaign is now the development of a Switch version, but if you want to learn more about the title, the prototype is still available here. Are you just as happy about the Kickstarter's success?
