The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel confirmed at E3

Just when we thought we couldn't get any more new game announcements during Nintendo's busy little Direct broadcast, the platform holder only went and closed out the show with the crowd-pleasing news that the company is indeed working on the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Beyond the atmospheric trailer that you will be able to see below as soon as it's ready, we didn't find out much in the way of concrete info, but we suspect that simply knowing that the game is in the works will be enough for Zelda-starved fans craving a return to Hyrule. We'll look into this further during the week while we're out in LA and hopefully we'll have more to tell you about this much-anticipated sequel in due course.
