The Toronto Defiant has dropped their Interim General Manager / Assistant Coach Alban "Albless" De La Grange. After stepping up in early June, when team GM Jaesun "Jae" Won retired from esports, Albless was given the reigns to the team, and the responsibility of helping to drag them out of a poor season performance up until that point.

For what it is worth, Defiant looked a little better after Albless took over, even stringing together enough wins to net them a semi-finals result in the Summer Showdown event. The team overall still achieved a poor end of season result, and has since been grossly changed, seeing only one player from the 2020 team still on the roster as of right now, in Andreas "Logix" Berghmans.

No replacement GM has been announced yet, however with plenty of player acquisitions still necessary before the 2021 Overwatch League season kicks off, you can expect the role to be filled relatively soon.
