Dontnod grabbed everyone's attention with Life is Strange, and interest around the studio's other projects has grown accordingly. One such title is Twin Mirror, and adventure game with noir themes that the studio had planned to release this year in partnership with Bandai Namco.
Now, however, the studio has confirmed that Twin Mirror is being held back a little, and will now see release at some point in 2020. This decision to take some extra time "to optimize the gaming experience and capitalize on Twin Mirror's success potential," has been aided by a collaboration with Shibuya Productions (although Bandai Namco is still publishing the console versions of the game).
Another deal was also mentioned in the press release, as Dontnod has signed an exclusivity deal with Epic for the PC version of the game. As such, Twin Mirror will launch first on the Epic Games Store and will not land on Steam until one year later.
