Five Ubisoft executives have been accused of insider trading and are right now being investigated by French stock market regulators. The five executives sold Ubisoft shares only months before the company delayed both Watch Dogs and The Crew, which of course saw the Ubisoft stock tumble in worth, and all five have denied having any knowledge of the delays when they all sold their stock, which they are being accused of having.

Among the accused are three of Ubisoft Montreal's top bosses: Olivier Paris, CEO Yannis Mallat and Francis Baillet. French newspaper LaPresse talked to Mallat who had this to say:

"I had no information about the delay of Watch Dogs, let alone The Crew, let alone the fact that the announcement would not provide a new launch date which, I think, probably had the most impact. All our explanations, all our testimonies, all our emails are ignored in a systematic way. Everything shows that the AMF has a poor understanding of how games are made."
