The digital scene spans many platforms, business models and game types these days, and in many cases these intersect in various ways.

Among the bigger announcements was the news of a new game in Techland's Call of Juarez series that sees you playing as a bounty hunter out to get some of the most sought after outlaws of the Old West. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger comes to PC, PSN, and XBLA early next year.

Another welcome piece of news was the announcement of Trials Evolution: Gold Edition for PC next year as the popular Trials series finally returns to PC. Xbox 360 owners also got news of a new DLC pack with tracks, editor assets, and a BMX bike.

Speaking of DLC that's been pushed back, online multiplayer DLC for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is finally coming out mid-October.

Thunder and helicopters are forever associated with each other thanks to the classic Thunder Blade series, and Ubisoft didn't shy away from this with their announcement of the co-operative Thunder Wolves that lets one player be the pilot, while the other mans the guns. Thunder Wolves is also coming out on PC, PSN and XBLA early next year.

The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot.

Another new announcement was The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot - a free-to-play offering from Ubisoft Montreal that lets players hunt for treasures, deck out their castles, defend them and take on other player's castle. All for the sake of showboating your loot. Sounds and looks promising, and the developer is looking for alpha tests applicants.

Spartacus Legends, the Kung Fu Factory developed console brawler was confirmed to be a free-to-play offering on both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. An interesting attempt by Ubisoft at console free-to-play if nothing else. The game is based on the popular Starz TV series.

As far as mobile games goes the collaboration with GREE - Assassin's Creed Utopia - was on display alongside the likes of Prince of Persia Classic, Nutty Fluffies, and Babel Rising 3D.

We've got a new Rayman game coming out on Android and iOS in just a couple of weeks - Rayman Jungle Run - and Shootmania Storm, Anno Online, Silent Hunter Online, and Ghost Recon Online. As far as the latter goes, it was also let out that the team is currently focusing solely on the PC side of things with the Wii U version on hold for the moment.

There are plenty of digital Might & Magic titles on the horizon - with Might & Magic Online, Might & Magic: Duels of Champions (both PC and mobile), and Might & Magic: Raiders, being present at the showcase.

Among the more exotic and different games on show was Howrse, the browser based horse breeding game by Owlient, who are now working with Ubisoft to reach greater success. Of course, Howrse is already online for those who want to raise a pony or two.

Our editor-in-chief Gillen McAllister is on site to have a go with the titles showcase and meet with the developers so expect plenty of impressions of some of the bigger games at Ubisoft Digital Days over the next few days. Links to these texts and impressions will appear here.
