WePlay! to host $50,000 Valorant Ignition Series tournament

We have a double helping of Valorant Ignition Series news today as WePlay! Esports has also revealed that it will be hosting its own tournament in partnership with Riot Games. The WePlay! Valorant Invitational is set to be held July 13 - 19 and features a hefty a prize pool of $50,000

The tournament commences with Open Qualifiers July 13 - 14, which are two separate single-elimination brackets. Following this is the Swiss Bracket group stage, which will see the eight invited and qualifying teams go head-to-head. Four teams will then progress to the Semifinals July 18 with the final series set to be played July 19.

The announcement follows just after PAX revealed it would be holding its own event in the Valorant Ignition Series. The PAX Arena Valorant Invitational is set to be held July 22 - 26 with a total prize pool of $25,000.
