World of Warcraft: Classic servers have only just come online, and while many players have reported long waits in server queues (something Blizzard has responded to), the game has certainly made a mark, setting a new launch-day record for peak concurrent viewers on Twitch.
Livestreams for the MMO reached more than 1.1 million unique viewers in terms of concurrent viewership, or more specifically 1,165,793 viewers on August 26 at 15:05 PDT (23:05 BST). 6.1 million unique viewers were gathered within the first 24 hours of launch too, so it's certainly been popular.
We've just published our review as well, so be sure to check that out if you're debating heading in again.
