Xseed Games has revealed that a remaster of Ys: Memories of Celceta is heading to the PS4 in North America next spring, with Nihon Falcom adding this as part of their long-running series following its initial release on PS Vita in 2012.
This remaster will have full HD graphics, optimised controls for the system, and 60 FPS, as well as dual audio support, meaning you can play it in both English and Japanese (existing PC players can get this as a free patch "in the near future").
The Timeless Adventurer Edition is also coming as a day one option, coming with a soundtrack CD that was part of the Ys 25th Anniversary Pack in Japan, including nine re-arranged songs from the series, with another five from the original MSX release. On top of that, art cards will also be included, as you can see below:
The digital standalone edition will also be available at launch on the PlayStation Store, if you'd rather get into the land of Celceta quickly and experience the action-RPG all over again, set after the events of Ys II.
